Discover Your Signature Style

That signature style you're trying to express and share with the world is found within you. Awaken to your inner artist and develop a deep relationship with yourself. Getting to know who you are is the key in discovering your unique edge as a photographer. I'll take you through my process of art and creative direction, my life story and how I birthed Studio Je T'aime after dozens of rebrands, business name changes and purchasing upwards of 20 domain names. I made sacrifices and had to make really hard decisions to prioritize my life's purpose. Not everyone is going to get it but I know you'll find your community here while you're on your journey.  

Camera & Equipment

Digital and Film Photography. Laying down the foundations so you can begin to master your camera. I lay out my entire list of equipment, what I started with and what I use now. I show you the gear I bring with me on the road when I'm travelling internationally. Explore different styles of photography and even consider making the transition to Brand Photography (Level 2 is definitely the place to be). You might be a digital photographer who loves the Vintage Summer Romance (grainy/retro) photo editing style so it's time to dabble in film! Become An Editing Queen

Editing my photos in Adobe Lightroom Classic is probably my favourite part of creating art. There is so much you can do to a photo. Yes, you can buy presets from different photographers (including myself), but truthfully I want you to love the process. I want you to understand what you're doing and not just slap someone else's preset on your photo because you can't make it look how you want. I want to give you the skills so you could even go on to create your own preset pack to sell one day. I will show you the ONE simple yet highly effective strategy I use to reduce my editing time so you can get your photos back to your clients in a shorter time frame. In this section I show you what to do with your photos from memory card to Adobe Lightroom catalogues, importing files, staying organized, editing and exporting images for web, print or social media usages. 

Build Your Brand
& Business

Sharing all of the tools I use to run my own business. Systems, strategies, frameworks, software, and cover basics of building a brand, getting your website up, understanding the client purchasing journey, overcoming objections, pricing your work, marketing and sales. A highly over-looked area of business is communication and conflict resolution. I show you how you can navigate without ego when dealing with difficult clients, and how to spot red flags in clients or situations as well as prevent and protect yourself when shit hits the fan. (We always hope it doesn't but that's not real life...)

Portfolio Building & Passive Income

You can trade time for money for the rest of your life as long as it's what you truly want. Doing any service in exchange for money means when you stop working, you stop earning. I prefer to diversify my income and want you to know there are different ways to generate income as an artist so you don't always need to be behind the lens. I want you to see for yourself that it's possible to make money while you sleep, eat, travel and make love. I share my complete guide on hosting photography mini sessions which is how I was able to not only build a larger portfolio but earn additional streams of income so I could reinvest into my business.
